Some entrance tickets are now being sold online. Of course during normal opening hours you can always go to the museum and buy your ticket there. One advantage of buying tickets online is that you can print out your tickets yourself, then when you arrive at the museum you can go straight to a separate entrance, to the left of the main entrance. So you don’t have to go to the ticket desk, and you avoid any queues.

You can buy a maximum of 14 tickets per order. Groups of more than 14 people, up to a maximum of 35, are advised to make use of a timed reservation.

1. What you need
- A credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- A printer
- An email address

2. Ticket availability
Not all tickets are available online, so please check the information below carefully to see which ticket is right for you.

Ticket types (prices include a reservation fee of € 0.50)
Adults € 9.00
Young people, 10-17 years € 4.50
Children up to 10 years € 0.50

The following tickets are only on sale at the ticket desk:
Euro <26-Card and Amsterdam ‘Stadspas’ (don’t forget your card!) € 4.00
Museum card and I amsterdam card are not valid.
No student discount.

Note: Entry tickets are non-transferable and non-returnable. The tickets are only valid for the date and time period you have selected. Expired tickets cannot be used for another date or time period.
Children up to 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. Holders of youth discount cards may be asked for proof of identity on entry.


3. Payment
After you have selected your date, time and number of tickets, you can pay with a valid credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. No other method of payment is accepted.

4. Printing your tickets
After payment you can print out your tickets yourself. We will also send you a confirmation email. This means that you can also print the tickets at another time or place, so if you lose your tickets you can print them out again.

Note: Each visitor must be in possession of a valid ticket showing a unique barcode, which will be scanned. We therefore ask you to print your tickets as clearly as possible, and to keep them carefully. You can print the tickets in black and white or colour.

5. When you get to the museum
You can use the separate entrance to the left of the main entrance. All visitors must have their own ticket, so please check that you have printed all your tickets. All tickets will be scanned by our museum staff.
