Introduction Anne Frank Guide in ten countries

Sunday 27 January – on Holocaust Memorial Day - the Anne Frank House introduced the Anne Frank Guide for students in ten countries: Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, Indonesia, Oekrane, Portugal, Poland, Spain and Sweden ( www.annefrankguide.net). This online database helps students independently create a paper or report on Anne Frank and World War ll. There are eighteen Anne Frank Guides now.

The Anne Frank Guide helps students ages 10 to 16 work independently on papers or reports on Anne Frank and World War II by giving them access to a unique database of texts, photographs, short films, and sound fragments. The Guide is suitable for students on various levels. The website offers not only ideas for topics, but also enables students to create their own topic and search for the relevant material on their own.

Over the course of this year, the new Anne Frank Guides will be provided with (more) country-specific information.

The Anne Frank Guides are based on the Dutch version that, since its introduction in April 2003, has been used by thousands of students for school projects. In 2005 the Anne Frank Guide has been introduced in Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic and the United States of America.
