The Anne Frank House has organised an annual photo competition for young people since 2006. The theme of the 2009 competition was: ‘What is your greatest wish?’

The jury said about this photo: This photograph is technically well executed. There is just enough blur in the figure to suggest movement and yet it still holds the form of the body and the dress well. The cropping of the body adds interest to the composition and focuses the eye on the points of movement and stasis. More
