A fuss about the sale of Der Stürmer in the Kalverstraat
The German anti-Semitic newspaper Der Stürmer is sold in the tobacconist shop, De Driehoek, in the Kalverstraat. The sale of this newspaper is prohibited in the Netherlands. The owner of the shop is a fervent member of the NSB and the sale of this anti-Semitic paper could prove that the NSB has anti-Semitic sympathies, something that up to now has been denied. NSB leader, Mussert, therefore lets it be known that the NSB party and the tobacconist shop have nothing to do with each other.
