Anne Frank - A home cinema
From September 1941 Jews may no longer go to cinemas. Anne Frank loves films and film stars. Luckily her father has an idea. He takes the film projector from the business home and rents a film.
Anne and her best friend Jacqueline van Maarsen make a real film performance of it, complete with ‘official’ tickets. They invite some of their classmates. On arrival they have to show Anne their ticket and Jacqueline takes them to their seat. Jacqueline kept her ticket in remembrance of a special friendship.
