A meeting of fascists in Hotel Krasnapolski
The head of the Dutch wing of the Italian Fascist Party, Stefanelli, gives a speech in Hotel Krasnapolski on 30 October 1943. The occasion is to commemorate The March on Rome. The meeting attracts members of the Jeugdstorm (Dutch youth fascist organization), the Hitler Youth and many more.
The Dam
Square in the middle of Amsterdam and the historical heart of the city. On 7 May 1945, shortly after the liberation, a bloodbath takes place here when German soldiers open fire on the crowd which is celebrating.
