My respect to the people that work in this museum. The people that work hard to make these things that happened in the second world war, visible to the newer generations. I have been there when i was fourteen, and it really was awkward to stay in a house with such a history. I hope everyone that now will see this historical house can understand how the war made an impact on the whole world. And how all the people around and in Holland are thankful to all the people that brought us freedom. I, myself live 750 meters away from where Hannie Schaft was taken and captured by the Germans in Haarlem. Hannie Schaft is one of Hollands most famous 'resistence' fighters from WWII. She killed important people who were looking for the jewish people in Holland. She helped jewish people escape and hide from them. There's two books written about her, and two movies are made after her appearance in the world war. Google for the wiki and type in 'Hannie Schaft' if you are interest in the movie or something. Anyhow, world war II should never be forgatten, and the people that died, should always be remembered for their great sacrifices making us live in freedom.
