The travelling exhibitions
Since 1997 the exhibition Anne Frank - A History for Today has travelled across Spain and been visited by thousands of people in places such as the Catholic University of Murcia, the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, the Barcelona City Council, the Sabino Arana Foundation in Vizcaya, and the Mapfre Guanarteme Foundation in the Canary Islands.
The exhibition Reading & writing with Anne Frank has been specifically designed for children between 9 and 15 years old and aims to promote reading and writing. For this reason, libraries are the ideal place to set up the exhibition: they are publicly accessible, and you are always surrounded by books and inspiration. Eight libraries in Madrid have already accommodated the exhibition, receiving nearly 2,500 students, and it is now touring a number of Spanish provinces.
Since Spain focuses on bilingual education, the exhibition texts are in English and in Spanish.
