Zentralstelle für jüdische Auswanderung

The Zentralstelle für jüdische Auswanderung (Central Office for Jewish Emigration) organised the persecution of the Jews in the Netherlands. The agency was set up by the SS, the military branch of the German Nazi party. The Zentralstelle was located in a school building on Adama van Scheltemaplein in Amsterdam, across from the Amsterdam SS headquarters on Euterpestraat. The people from the Secret Annex were interrogated there before being taken to prison.
