Travelling exhibitions and activities

The Anne Frank House works in Hungary to share Anne’s story and promote education about the Second World War, antisemitism, prejudice, human rights, and democracy.

We operate across Hungary with a range of educational programs, centered on our traveling exhibitions. These mobile, interactive displays can be hosted in schools and public spaces throughout Croatia, bringing engaging learning experiences directly to local communities. History
The educational activities of the Anne Frank House in Hungary took off in 2007 with the presentation of the Anne Frank – A History for Today exhibition The Anne Frank House expanded its educational programs in Hungary from 2014 onward, creating exhibitions and materials for younger students. Its travelling exhibitions, including Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank, have been shown in many Hungarian towns and cities.

Peer education has always been an important part of the program. Students aged 14–19 receive training to guide their classmates through the exhibitions, with a focus on Anne Frank and the Hungarian Holocaust.
