Travelling exhibitions and activities
The French-speaking team of the Anne Frank House has been active in France since 2002. Currently, the travelling exhibitions 'Anne Frank – A History for Today' and 'Reading & Writing with Anne Frank' are touring the country, while peer-guide trainings and teacher seminars are also taking place.
Two travelling exhibitions
The French-speaking team of the Anne Frank House currently offers two types of exhibitions in support of educational and pedagogical projects:
- The Anne Frank – A History for Today exhibition. This had its first opening in Dijon in May 2002. It is designed for everybody, starting from the age of 10.
- The Reading & Writing with Anne Frank project. This was launched in Issy-les-Moulineaux in December 2015. It is a writing workshop, in which the educators try to share the excitement and creativity in reading and writing with their pupils.

Peer education
The exhibition Anne Frank - A History for Today comes with a special project for schools and educational organisations, where students of the age of Anne Frank – when she was writing her diary – are trained to be peer guides. In January 2016, the Anne Frank House trained around twenty students from the Montesquieu vocational school in Valence. This video (in French) traces the process and the commitment of the high school students during the training.

Teachers training
Teacher training sessions can be organised upon request for high schools or the Departmental Inspectorates of Education.
In October 2016, fifteen teachers and educators participated in a training course in Issy-les-Moulineaux, including a day trip to Amsterdam. There were educational and historical interventions and presentations, with a workshop from Yad Vashem from Israel and the CEJI (A Jewish Contribution to an Inclusive Europe) from Brussels.
Educational materials
The Anne Frank House has produced – in partnership with Editions Belin – various educational tools that allow us to approach the history of Anne Frank and the Holocaust through archival documents and testimonies. The materials include two teaching packages (one for 9 to 11-year-olds and the other for 13 to 16-year-olds), two educational comics (A FamilySecret and The Search), and the adaptation of the graphic novel Anne Frank in French, published in March 2016.
