The Anne Frank House works in Sweden to share Anne’s story and promote education about the Second World War, the Holocaust, antisemitism, prejudice, human rights, and democracy.
We operate across Sweden with a range of educational programmes centred on our travelling exhibitions. These mobile, interactive displays can be hosted in schools and public spaces throughout Sweden, bringing engaging learning experiences directly to local communities.

History
Since 2008, Anne Frank exhibitions have been presented in Stockholm and across Sweden. Between 2008 and 2010, Anne Frank – A History for Today toured Stockholm and other locations, coordinated by The Living History Forum and Peace House Uppsala. In 2016, the Swedish version of Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank, Om jag bara får vara mig själv, officially opened at The Living History Forum in Stockholm, where its educational programme engaged thousands of students before the exhibition moved on to museums and cultural institutions around Sweden. Since 6 June 2017, the exhibition has been on display at Peace House in Uppsala Castle, where it forms the centre of an educational programme for students from Uppsala.
