We operate across the Czech Republic with a range of educational programs, centered on our traveling exhibitions. These mobile, interactive displays can be hosted in schools and public spaces throughout the Czech Republic, bringing engaging learning experiences directly to local communities. Local partner
We are proud to work with our local partner, the Terezín Initiative Institute, to bring our educational exhibitions and programmes to the Czech Republic. The Institute provides guidance on integrating the exhibitions into local educational activities and Holocaust education initiatives, and can help organise complementary programmes such as guest lectures, theatre performances, and discussions.
History
In 1994, the first Czech-language version of Anne Frank – A History for Today was opened at Charles University in Prague by President Václav Havel. Over the next 20 years, the exhibition travelled to more than one hundred locations across the Czech Republic, engaging students and visitors with Anne Frank’s story and its relevance today.
Today, Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank continues this work, connecting Anne’s life with contemporary themes such as identity, discrimination, and active citizenship. Alongside the exhibition, educational programmes such as Free2Choose-Create encourage young people to reflect on human rights and democratic values through discussion and creative activities.
