Travelling exhibitions and activities

The Anne Frank House works in Croatia to share Anne’s story and promote education about the Second World War, antisemitism, prejudice, human rights, and democracy.

We operate across Croatia with a range of educational programs, centered on our traveling exhibitions. These mobile, interactive displays can be hosted in schools and public spaces throughout Croatia, bringing engaging learning experiences directly to local communities. Local Partner

We are proud to work with HERMES, our local partner in Croatia. Together, we organize exhibitions, school programs, and public events focused on Holocaust education, human rights, and democratic values, reaching communities across the country.

History

Our activities in Croatia began in 2005 with the traveling exhibition Anne Frank – A History for Today. This exhibition, which introduces Anne Frank’s life and the lessons it carries, has been the foundation of our work in the country. Since then, we have partnered with schools, cultural institutions, and local educators, alongside HERMES, to develop workshops, teacher training, and awareness programs that reach communities across Croatia.
