The project titled Childhood? – Children’s Perspectives of the Holocaust – Active Remembrance has been a joint initiative of the Hungarian Jewish Museum and Archives (Budapest), the Anne Frank House (Amsterdam), the Wiener Library for the Study of the Holocaust and Genocide (London) and the Zidovska nabozenska obec v Komárne  (Komarno Jewish Community, Slovakia) supported by Europe for Citizens Programme of the European Union.

100,000 Hungarian children

The goal of the project was to explore the documentary traces of 100,000 Hungarian child victims of the Holocaust, to publish findings via a website and an exhibition, and to organise various events commemorating the victims.
