Auditory

Anne Frank House for deaf and hard of hearing visitors

At Anne Frank House, we use an audio tour through which visitors can listen to the history of hiding. For deaf and hard of hearing visitors, a written transcript of the audio tour is available at the information desk near the entrance. There is also written information in the rooms and next to the objects in the museum.

Support and tips:

  • Make use of the audio tour written transcript. This is available at the information desk.
  • Visitors with a personal induction loop (neck loop) with a 3.5 mm jack connection can connect it directly to the audio guide.
  • Although many people visit our museum, the atmosphere is quiet. Visitors are generally silent as they listen to the audio tour.
