Democracy vs. Dictatorship: Connecting to daily life
For centuries antisemitism played a role in Europe. During the Occupation, the Nazis introduced many anti-Jewish measures in the countries they invaded. These measures led to exclusion and dehumanisation of Jews and had major consequences for their daily lives. In this lesson, students learn about this process of step-by-step exclusion and reflect on what it would mean in their own daily lives. What is it like to live in a dictatorship?
